The first course I took in seminary was The New Testament Epistles. During one of the early lectures, the professor noted that our passage made reference to a verse in the Book of Daniel and asked us to turn to that. A small panic came over me: I had no idea where to find it. Okay, I did know to turn back, but let’s face it, there are a lot of pages back there in the Old Testament! Well, I have long since stopped panicking about the fact that there is a lot I don’t know about scripture and gotten on with the more useful task of life-long learning. It is, for sure, one of the great joys of being a minister – that week in and week out I am engaged in reading, studying, reflecting, and praying over the Word. I love it! And my joy is doubled when I have an opportunity to engage scripture with others. |

We typically meet monthly to share information, network with other moms, and provide and receive comfort and inspiration.
