Important Stewardship Challenge |
Part I – from annual meeting: At the annual meeting, February 4th, we learned that we did not receive adequate 2007 pledges to the current expense budget to cover our proposed 2007 budget. We had a shortfall of $95,000. Therefore, we did not vote on the budget, but instead are continuing with our 2007 stewardship drive until the shortfall is met. |

Heartfelt Thanks |

HEARTFELT THANKS TO MY CHURCH FAMILY Your outpouring of love and comfort, cards, food, rides has been so appreciated during this time. Your prayers continue to sustain me; I feel them. This church responds so well to those in need and I am a grateful recipient. I give special thanks to Liza Catino and Linda Carleton for jumping in to keep the office functioning. They accomplished the huge task of preparing the Book of Reports. Thank you, too, to all the volunteers who pitched in to answer phones and help with office tasks. Deepest thanks to the First Church staff for their love, and to Kendrick who told me to be where I needed to be. Thank you all. Penelope. |
