Service of Prayer and Healing this Wednesday, July 8th 7:00pm. This special service of music and prayer offers the Laying on of hands and Anointing with oil for those who so choose.  All are welcome.  Note that beginning in the fall the service will move to the third Wednesday each month.

Seeking Bread Bakers:  Our ministry to welcome visitors to Sunday worship with home-made bread has expanded to include the summer months.  So, the Bread Bakers knead additional kneaders.  Please join our 20-strong bakers to our ministry of welcome with your loaves for 2 or 3 Sundays during the year.  Call Suzanne McGriff at 453-1646 to volunteer.

The gardening season is in full swing! Please keep the Harvest Fair Plant Room in mind for donations of plant propagations, and garden items, such as books, baskets, and birdhouses. Will pick up donations. Call Holly Bollier at 458-0776.

Pilgrim Fellowship Director Job Opening: The First Congregational Church is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as Director of its high school youth group, the Pilgrim Fellowship. The mission of PF is to create a broad-based and close-knit fellowship, provide an atmosphere where the moral and faith issues of the day can be explored, give opportunity for youthful exuberance and the joy of life to be fully expressed, and to serve those in need. With assistance from a team of well-seasoned adult volunteers, the Director will plan and lead regular Sunday evening meetings (academic year) of approximately 60-100 teens, organize local service projects, retain relevant speakers as necessary, coordinate fundraising efforts, and conduct an annual mission trip during April school vacation. Food Bank Needs:  Urgent: canned meat-stew, hash, ham, chili, chicken.  Bathroom tissue, juice, school snacks, canned fruit, coffee, tea, pancake & cake mixes, dry milk, boxed potato products, tuna or hamburger helper, sugar, flour, dry cereal, boxed mac & cheese.
