ANNOUNCEMENTSChurch School Registration will take place in Fellowship Hall today before and after 10:00 worship. At the beginning of the church school year, it is important for us to have a record of relevant information for every child in our church family from Crib Room through Grade 8 and also for students in the confirmation classes. Please fill out a separate form for each child. We will be on hand to answer questions and have extra forms. In lieu of a registration fee, the Board of Christian Ed. requests a donation of canned goods for the Guilford Food Bank. Those who want to sign up their children for Cherub Choir (K – Gr. 2), Junior Choir (Grades 3-8) or Middle School Youth Group (Grades 5 - 8) may do so at that time as well. We are excited for a great new year!
We Are First Church is the bright yellow booklet detailing our plans for worship, education, music, fellowship and mission in the 2008-2009 program year. If you did not receive one in the mail, please pick one up from the narthex – and call the office (453-5249) to be sure you are on our mailing list!
A Service of Prayer and Healing will be held on Wednesday, September 10th at 7:00pm. We will gather in the peacefulness of the Sanctuary and through prayer, music and stories of God’s love and presence amidst struggle, we will join our hearts together to ask God’s healing in our lives, the lives of those we love, and God’s world. You may receive the laying on of hands and anointing with oil if you desire it. All are welcome.
