ANNOUNCEMENTS

Super Summer Sunday School: On Sundays in June at 10:00am we offer a special mixed-age program for children in Grades 4 and under. The children will begin in worship, and then will be invited to the Grade 1 room for stories, games, songs and crafts.

Summertime Nursery Care – During June, July and August we want to continue to provide nursery care for children, our own church’s children and also for visitors. We invite you to sign up with a friend or relative for 1 or 2 Sundays at the 10:00am service. The sign-up sheet is in the narthex and instructions are in the nursery.

Pilgrim Fellowship Mission Trip Presentation Tonight: Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro will be guest speaker at PF's last gathering. All are welcome to meet and greet her at 6:30pm following the PF picnic. At 7:00pm we will all move into the Sanctuary where she will speak about the value of community service preceding the viewing of the 2008 Mission Trip DVD.

All Committee Budgets are Due by Tuesday, June 10th. Please submit your budget to the Church Office either by mail or dropping it off. Your cooperation is needed to allow the Board of Finance and Stewardship Committee to proceed with their work. Thank you.

Father’s Day Art Sale – Watercolors by Linda Carleton will be on sale after worship on Sunday, June 15th to benefit the Melita Fund and assist our long-term residents with their upcoming move.

“Journeys in a Jet Age” is our vacation program for children who have completed Kindergarten through Grade 6. It runs Mon., June 23 – Thurs., June 26th from 9:00am – noon in the Church School Building. A pot-luck supper & program will be held for participants and their families on Thurs., June 26th at 6:00pm. Details & registration forms are in the narthex.

Alpha Club Annual Picnic will be held Tuesday, June 24 at 5:30pm at Benton’s Beach. Those who wish to carpool should meet at the church at 5:15pm. Members are asked to bring a salad or dessert. Hot dogs & hamburgers will be provided. All are welcome!

A Service of Prayer and Healing will be held on Wednesday, June 25th at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary. All are invited.

Photos Needed for the new pictorial directory we are planning - of usual happenings and special events around the church. If you have pictures or digital images you can share, please give them to Kendrick. Sittings are set for Aug. and Nov.; the sittings in Aug. are especially to accommodate families with college students: Aug. dates are: Fri., Aug. 8th 3:30 – 9:00pm and Sat., Aug. 9th noon-5pm.
