Immediately following the 10:00am service in Fellowship Hall, please join us for a reception to honor and thank Rev. Mary Klaaren for her ministry at First Church. Today is her last day with us. Kendrick returns from sabbatical on the 15th. We warmly welcome the Reverend Dr. Stephen J. Sidorak, Jr. as our preacher today. Dr. Sidorak is the Executive Director of the Christian Conference of Connecticut. He has served in many capacities here and abroad. At the Adult Forum today at 11:15am in the Chapel he will explore the life and ministry of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. - please see the Adult Education flyer in the pews.

Joyful Noise! Concert Today at 2:00pm in the Sanctuary. Join us for a rousing concert when First Church's own Nick Catino and friends will present a jazz concert. Admission is free – the free will offering will benefit the Myrtha Licht Fund at First Church.
This Old House of Worship: Tonight - 7:00pm Christ Epis. Church, 11 Park St., will host a meeting for interested people from local religious communities to begin the conversation about how we can address being responsible stewards with our buildings, and the energy and supplies we consume. Movie Night: Want to see a movie and get to know some of your fellow church members? The Welcoming and Inclusion Committee is sponsoring a movie night on January 19. Church School Family Breakfast - Families of Church School children (& their teachers!) in grades 1, 2, and 3 are invited to a potluck breakfast social on Sunday, January 27th, at 9:00AM in Fellowship Hall.
