All are welcome to the Adult Forum at 11:15am in the Chapel.  Listen and talk with women from Myanmar, Malaysia, Tonga, Nigeria, Guyana, and Los Angeles who are in the Doctor of Ministry program and studying at the church for two weeks.  If you can stay longer, have lunch with them in Fellowship Hall.  All are welcome!


Deaconess for January is Pamela Dear (458-6040).  Please notify her of births, adoptions, or anyone who may need a note of sympathy or encouragement.  For information about our Prayer Shawl Ministry, please call Pam Welch (458-2340.)  Audiotapes of Sunday worship services are available to sign out in Spencer House.

Calling New Bell Ringers  – Anyone interested in ringing, Grade 7 through adult, is welcome to come.  Rehearsals are on Thursdays 6:00 - 7:00pm January 10, 17, 24 and the Choir will ring on Jan. 27.  Sign up today in the Choir Rm.

Music and Transformation Classes resume January 8th: Mary Morreale’s course is held Tuesdays from 11am-12:30 pm in the Choir Room.  Join us for this special journey: through music, drawing of mandalas, prayer, meditation and group discussion learn some tools to grow with your Spirit this year!  No music/drawing experience needed.  For more information call Mary at 458-9701.

Joyful Noise! Concert Next Sunday at 2:00pm in the Sanctuary.  Join us for a rousing concert when First Church's own Nick Catino and friends will present a jazz concert.  Admission is free – the free will offering will benefit the Myrtha Licht Fund at First Church.

Bylaw Revisions Discussion next Sunday, Jan. 13th at 11:15am in the Minear Library.  Learn about the changes Church Council is considering, and make adjustments to any current procedures or proposals now in consideration.
