Bylaw Revisions Presentation & Discussion Today at 11:15am in the Minear Library. Church Council has been reviewing and preparing modifications to the Church Bylaws. A review of the proposed changes will be presented twice: today and January 13th, at 11:15am in the Minear Library. All are welcomed to attend. Later Today: Contemporary Worship Service at 5:00pm followed by the Advent Family Supper at 6:00pm: Come for the service and stay for the supper. The Board of Christian Education invites all families to our annual Advent supper – no need to bring a thing! Pasta, salad, bread, drinks and dessert provided and entertainment will be offered by the Cherub Choir.

ANNOUNCEMENTSParking Reminder: As we move into winter, please remember to leave the parking spaces closest to the Church (the Church parking lot and in front of the Church on both sides of Broad Street) available for those persons with physical limitations who need to park nearest. Those individuals are asked to display a Priority Parking Card which is available from the Church Office. All able-bodied persons are asked to park on State Street and around the Green. Thank you for your cooperation. A copy of the Parking Guide is in the narthex.
Stewardship Update: Our 2008 Stewardship Goal is $540,000. As of Nov 27th, we have $413,160 pledged. We have $126,840 remaining to meet our goal and about 130 pledgers from 2007 yet to hear from. We have received 245 pledges, and of those 24 are from brand new pledgers. If you have yet to pledge, remember every pledge counts. Please send in your pledge now. Thank you to all of you who have already pledged for 2008.

Christmas Poinsettias: Poinsettias adorn the Sanctuary before Christmas and are then delivered by the Deaconesses to those who are homebound or in need of some cheer. If you wish to give flowers in memory of loved ones, please use the form in the Landmark and mail or drop it off in the Church Office by next Sunday, Dec. 9th. Thank you!

Alpha Club Christmas Party will be held on Tues., Dec. 11th at 7:00 pm at Carin Small’s, 52 Church Street. We will continue our tradition of collecting new, unwrapped toys to be donated to Christian Community Action in New Haven for distribution to children in need. This year we are also collecting new adult-sized socks, hats, scarfs and mittens. All are welcome.
Pilgrim Fellowship Cookie Walk- Sunday, December 23rd after the 10:00 am service in Fellowship Hall. We are collecting clean, empty coffee cans – please leave them in the marked box in the Narthex or Spencer House. Thanks!
