ANNOUNCEMENTS

Calling all Singers & Ringers!  The Christmas rehearsal season is upon us for the wonderful music of the season.  Come join us this year to sing and/or ring.  Join our Senior Choir for rehearsals on Nov. 29, Dec 6 for Lessons & Carols (practice CDs available.)  Join the Christmas Festival Bell Choir and enjoy ringing in favorite holiday music for rehearsals on Thursdays 6-7pm on Nov. 26, Dec. 3, 13 & 20, ringing at the 10 am service on Dec. 23.  Sign-up in the choir room today!

Bylaw Revisions Presentation & Discussion– Church Council has been reviewing and preparing modifications to the Church Bylaws, some of which will be presented for a vote at the Annual Meeting in February.  A review of the proposed changes will be presented twice: Sundays, December 2nd and January 13th,at 11:15am in the Minear Library in Spencer House.  This will give all members an opportunity to make adjustments to any current procedures or proposals now in consideration.  Comments are always welcomed, at these meetings or anytime, by phone or email, to Charlie West, 203-453-6817 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Alpha Club Will Meet on Tuesday, November 27th at 7:30pm in Fellowship Hall.  Lucy Krauchick will speak about “A Healthier You.”  All are welcome!

UNICEF Collection: Church School children are reminded to return their UNICEF boxes to church as soon as possible.  There is a collection box outside the Church School office.

Can-Can Thanksgiving!  Church School children are encouraged to celebrate Thanksgiving by bringing in cans of food for the Guilford Food Bank during the month of November.  A collection box is in the Narthex.

Thanksgiving Dinners:  The Meals on Wheels Program will deliver turkey dinners to Guilford families on Thanksgiving morning.  If you would be willing to deliver dinners or bake desserts, please email Stephanie Ayles at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Request for 2008 Calendars:  If you receive a free 2008 calendar and are not able to use it, you may donate it to the women at York Correctional Institution.  Please leave it in the narthex or in Spencer House for Charlotte White, Chaplain at York CI,  to pick up. Thanks.
