We warmly welcome Dr. Kate Ott to our pulpit this morning. A First Church member since 2006, Kate is the Associate Director for the Religious Institute on Sexual Morality, Justice, and Healing and a lecturer in Christian Social Ethics at Union Theological Seminary.

Music & Transformation Class will meet on Tuesday, July 15th at 11:00am – 12:30pm in the Choir Room. Service of Prayer and Healing Wednesday, July 30th 7:00pm Wondering what more you might do for a sick friend, a grieving relative, or a broken relationship? Join us for this service and raise those concerns that are on your heart in silent or voiced prayer. Receive the laying on of hands and anointing with oil if you desire it. When we are in community, the prayer is magnified. Black in America is the title of a two-part special on CNN to be aired on Wednesday, July 23 and Thursday, July 24 at 9:00pm. This is an excellent way to prepare for Sacred Conversations this fall.
