Calling All Crafters! We cut, we glue, we stitch some, too! The Craft Group makes items to sell at the Handcrafts table at the Harvest Fair in November, and we need your help! New faces and ideas are welcome. We will meet on Wednesdays, Aug. 3 & 17, 6-8pm in Room 9. Please join us for creativity & fellowship. Let us know if you would like a project to work on at home. Euchre Card Night, Friday August 5th. Instead of the second Saturday, we're going to try the first Friday this time. First-timers or long-timers, single or with a partner… everyone is welcome! We meet in Griswold Hall (2nd floor of the Church School Bldg . Come at 6:15 for a lesson/refresher, or at 6:45 to play for the evening. Silver Lake Attendees? Due to a staff change at Silver Lake, we did not receive the listing of First Church children and youth conferees this summer. If your child will be at Silver Lake and you’d like for them to receive a card from First Church folks, please call the Church Office and we will put the names and address in the bulletin.

We offer Inquirers’ Meetings to those interested in learning more about First Church and the United Church of Christ. These meetings are also for those who seek membership, and are especially helpful to those coming from a different denomination or faith background. The Inquirer/
New Member Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 6th at 11:30am in the Minear Library in Spencer House. Child care is available; please call the Church Office to request it. Light refreshments will be offered. New members will be received on May 13th during the 10:00am service. If you have questions, please speak with a minister.
