Joyful Noise! Concert Today 4:00pm in the Sanctuary. The Crosswinds Trio featuring Gary Ross on trumpet, Larry Kursar on french horn and Michael Toth on piano. They have arranged many classic pieces for their unique sound: from Bernstein to Bolling, Rossini and Handel to Copeland and Gershwin. The Annual Meeting of the First Congregational Church of Guilford, Inc., will be held on Sunday morning, February 6, 2011, at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary, directly following the 10:00am service to:
1. Receive and act upon the reports and recommendations of the Ministers,
2. Receive and act upon the reports and recommendations of the Boards, Committees and Organizations of the church,
3. Act upon the proposed 2011 Operating Budget, as submitted by Church Council,
4. Act upon the proposed 2011 Community and World Concerns budget, as submitted by the CWC Board,
5. Receive the report of the Nominating Committee and act upon their recommendations for Officers and Members of Boards and Committees of the church.

We offer Inquirers’ Meetings to those interested in learning more about First Church and the United Church of Christ. These meetings are also for those who seek membership, and are especially helpful to those coming from a different denomination or faith background. The Inquirer/
New Member Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 6th at 11:30am in the Minear Library in Spencer House. Child care is available; please call the Church Office to request it. Light refreshments will be offered. New members will be received on May 13th during the 10:00am service. If you have questions, please speak with a minister.
