Vocal Choirs

Cherub Choir (Kindergarten – Grade 2) meets for rehearsals on Wednesdays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm in Griswold Hall and participates in worship and special presentations throughout the program year September through May.  Director is Gail Etter.

Junior Choir (Grades 3 – 8) meets for rehearsals on Wednesdays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm in Fellowship Hall and participates in worship and performs special presentations throughout the program year September through May.  Director is Liza Catino (453-0494)

Senior Choir (High School- Adult) meets weekly for rehearsal on Thursday from 7:15 – 9 pm in the Choir Room and at 9 am most Sundays for 10 am worship services from September to June. Choir participates in weekly worship services as well as special services throughout the program year such as Lessons and Carols, Christmas Festival Services, Christmas Eve, Lenten special music, Easter Festival Services, and Joyful Noise! Concerts.  Child care is provided for rehearsals.

Flexible attendance policy enables you to sing when your schedule permits! There are several ways to participate, from special services to a weekly commitment. NEW TO FIRST CHURCH OR SEEK TO BECOME A MEMBER?

We welcome to our church life all who seek the presence of God, no matter where you are on your faith journey.  We offer Inquirers’ Meetings to those interested in learning more about First Church and the United Church of Christ.  These meetings are also for those who seek membership, and are especially helpful to those coming from a different denomination or faith background.  The Inquirer/

New Member Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 6th at 11:30am in the Minear Library in Spencer House. Child care is available; please call the Church Office to request it.  Light refreshments will be offered.  New members will be received on May 13th during the 10:00am service. If you have questions, please speak with a minister.
