The First Church community is invited to another great season of Joyful Noise! Our remaining concerts this year:

Chad Hardin
Classical Concert Pianist
Chad Hardin is a pianist, composer, music director and teacher who has lived and worked on the CT shoreline for over 15 years. His latest recording, “The Open Door to Everything,” features cellist and Paul Winter Consort co-founder David Darling. Chad recently completed his fourth musical, “Sextet.” At this concert, Chad will offer a lecture-recital, both performing and discussing music by Beethoven, Granados, and Hardin.

Shoreline Soul Gospel Choir
Directed by Angela Clemmons.
This concert will feature over 60 voices in an uplifting, hand-clapping, foot-stomping and inspirational concert of traditional and contemporary gospel music. This is the culmination of a gospel workshop led by Ms. Clemmons. Rehearsals for the concert begin on Monday April 30th. We welcome to our church life all who seek the presence of God, no matter where you are on your faith journey. We offer Inquirers’ Meetings to those interested in learning more about First Church and the United Church of Christ. These meetings are also for those who seek membership, and are especially helpful to those coming from a different denomination or faith background. The Inquirer/
New Member Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 6th at 11:30am in the Minear Library in Spencer House. Child care is available; please call the Church Office to request it. Light refreshments will be offered. New members will be received on May 13th during the 10:00am service. If you have questions, please speak with a minister.
