Church School and nursery care available at 10:00

4:00 Service of Lessons and Carols

A traditional candlelight service featuring the Bible lessons and music of the season. There will be special anthems from the First Church Senior Choir, Junior Choir, and Handbell Choir, with soloists and instrumentalists.  Childcare will be available.

Soup and Bread Supper sponsored by the Pilgrim Fellowship in Fellowship Hall, immediately after the carol service. Tickets ($7) will be on sale in the Narthex on Sunday mornings.

Dec. 16, Third Sunday in Advent

8:30 & 10:00 am - Candle of Hope

Rev. Dr. Michael S. Pen-Strah preaching.  Dr. Penn-Strah is our Regional Minister in the Connecticut Conference of the UCC.

P.F. meets for Christmas party - time TBA

Dec. 19, Weds., 7:00 pm, Service of Prayer and Healing 

This will be a special time of music, scripture, prayer, and freflection. The service will include the layong on of hands and anointing with oil for those who choose. (Sanctuary)

Dec. 22, Sat., 9:30 - 11:00 am, Pageant Rehearsal

Children who wish to participate in the Christmas Eve Pageant should plan to attend this rehearsal in the Sanctuary. Costumes and parts will be given out at this time. We can also use some older teens and adults who would be willing to help.

Dec. 23, Fourth Sunday in Advent

8:30 Chapel Service and 10:00 Christmas Festival Service - Candle of Joy

The Senior Choir presents "Christmas Cantata" by Daniel Pinkham, with double brass choir.

We encourage children to join us in worship, however, nursery care will also be available, and there will be a special Christmas program for children up through Grade 4 during the second half of the service.  Older children are asked to remain in worship.

A retelling of the Christmas Story by the children of our church.
