Join us in Griswold Hall on Saturday March 12th for our third night of Euchre! Details are in the Bulletin. Instructions on how to play Euchre have been updated, and can be found here as a "pdf" and here as a "doc" file. Arrive by 6:15 if you would like a lesson or refresher, or by 6:45 to play for the evening.
Euchre was "widely regarded as the national card game" in the 19th century. For more fascinating information on the game, check out the Wikipedia article.

We offer Inquirers’ Meetings to those interested in learning more about First Church and the United Church of Christ. These meetings are also for those who seek membership, and are especially helpful to those coming from a different denomination or faith background. The Inquirer/
New Member Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 6th at 11:30am in the Minear Library in Spencer House. Child care is available; please call the Church Office to request it. Light refreshments will be offered. New members will be received on May 13th during the 10:00am service. If you have questions, please speak with a minister.
