National UCC’s program Mission 4/1 Earth is ongoing, and encourages us this spring to help by:
- Planting trees. If we have enough and would rather donate, The National Arbor Day Foundation accepts donations to have trees planted for rainforest rescue, National Park restoration after forest fires, or disaster relief for communities. For options see www.arborday.org/takeaction/index.cfm. Joining for the basic $10 basic membership entitles you to free trees as well.
